This website is owned and operated by Wee Walking Tours. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. This website offers visitors walking tours of Edinburgh. By accessing or using the website of our service, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Payments

 

When booking your Wee Walking tour, as a courtesy to our customers, we offer you the option to pay online or in person. However, please note that if you choose to pay in person, we ask you to still make your booking online so that we can better plan the walking tours for that day. Additionally, we ask customers that choose to pay in person to please arrive 15 minutes before the tour so that we have time to process the payment (we accept cash or credit/debit cards). All payments are required before the walking tour commences. 

 

Your payment to Wee Walking Tours will not cover entry to paid attractions, and guided tours will not go inside paid attractions. Access to free attractions will be subject to the terms of entry of the attraction.

 

Private walking tours are offered subject to availability and can be secured with payment in full.

 

The prices we charge for using our services are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for our walking tours at any time.

Departure and Delays

 

All tours start on time, so we ask that you please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your tour.

 

Departure times, locations and tour dates are subject to change.

 

The route used will be at the discretion of Wee Walking Tours.

 

The Walking Tours

 

All walking tours take place whatever the weather. Therefore, please come prepared and dressed appropriately for the conditions. Please also note that you should wear sensible and comfortable shoes as there are cobbled streets and uneven pavement throughout Edinburgh due to its historic nature.

 

On the tour, group members are responsible for their own physical safety, health and well-being. The physical geography of Edinburgh requires walking up and down hills throughout the city, often on cobbled streets. As such, Wee Walking Tours are not generally suitable for groups with a below-average level of fitness.

 

Children must be accompanied by an adult who are responsible for them and their safety.

 

Wee Walking Tours accepts no liability for any accident, injury, or loss or damage to personal belongings whilst on a walking tour, and by joining a walking tour you acknowledge and accept this condition of non-liability.

 

Refunds Policy & Cancellation Charges

 

For our scheduled walking tours: We will offer a full refund if a cancellation is received outside 48 hours before the tour but no refund within 48 hours of the tour.

 

For our private walking tours, we will offer a full refund for cancellations received at least a week before the tour commences (via email), and a 50% refund if the tour is cancelled within 7 days of the tour commencing.

 

No refund will be made of the booking fees paid to make your booking for any walking tours (these fees are set by our third-party payment processor).

In the event of your travel plans changing at short notice, private walking tour dates may be rearranged. There is no charge for rearranging dates, subject to availability.

 

Wee Walking Tours will not proceed should we decide that the weather makes the participation in the walking tour unsafe, or for any other reason, at the absolute discretion of Wee Walking Tours.

 

Customers are entitled to a full refund in the event that Wee Walking Tours cancels a walking tour.
